Download from a paypal site without paying a penny!!!

Just a little basic html tip for those who are trying to download an
application from sites which has an pay pal order page & link to start you off.

Use a proxy when you try this to hide your ip as some sites will record your ip
when you connect for security.

1) Right click your mouse (ctrl+click) view source and open the source of the
site in an a text editor

2) Search for the word "return"

3) Next to it you can find the url for the thank you page

4) Copy the url and paste it in your browser and you will see the download link

This works only if you can download instantly after payment, it will not work if
the link needs to be emailed to you.

You can try it here to start with:

Code:

http://www.ramphelp.com/halfpipe.html

About half way down the page you will find:

<input type="hidden" name="return" value="http://www.ramphelp.com/65984523/thanks/68912hp654/26865thankyouhp08363215423.html
">

Copy the link into your browser and download.

Get unlimited bandwidth from your host for free

NOTE: This applies only to specific hosting companies, due to the

specific setup needed and does have its drawbacks.

While setting up hosting space with a specific company I often deal

with, I noticed that they used a shared IP. (IP shared by two or more

websites/domains.) Well, the rates for unlimited bandwidth were

around $50+ per month, which I found unreasonable. I didn't require

much space, and didn't want to be limited to a mere 3 gig of traffic

per month.

Back on track... When setting up the acct, the hosting company needs

to know the domain name so that they can direct it accordingly.

(example: 'http://www.123.4.567.890/~user1/ ,

'http://www.123.4.567.890/~user2/ etc)

At this point you can give a url that doesn't belong to you at all. As

long as the name servers don't change, that should have absolutely no

negative effects on you or your site whatsoever.

How it works is this:

The host propagates you a certain amount space on its servers, and

monitors the traffic that enters their space through the domain its

registered under. Being that the domain isn't connected to the site

at all, it registers ZERO traffic.

Zero traffic registered = can't possibly go over bandwidth

restrictions

can't possibly go over bandwidth restrictions = free unlimited

bandwidth

Now the problems with this (besides the ethical ones) is that your

host may offer X amount of mail adds with the acct

(you@y...) and these will not work, as the name isn't on their

DNS. However, some domain companies allow you to set it up

regardless. Another problem seems to be strictly cosmetic, but can be

highly problematic... Once you attach the domain you want onto the

site, each page comes up/w the ip/UN the host propagated to your

acct. Its at this point where you have to have a phenomenal 10-15

character alphanumerical or better (#, &, etc) pw, or your site will

be vulnerable to attack since the attacker already has your UN. This

only gives attackers a slight advantage as the amount of time it

would take to brute force a 10 character pw @ a rate of 1,000,000 per

second is 10 years. Add numbers and case sensitivity to that and it

becomes approx 26,980 years.

While I'm on it, I may as well add that if you use this method,

obviously you are going to be using the lowest cost hosting plan

available, which in turn will offer the least amount of space. That's

why free hosts were invented.

Free hosts suck as a general rule. Who wants a site smothered in ads?

However, if you upload all your programs, graphics and other large

files (have a backup of course) to a reliable free host and target

them accordingly from your site you have just freed up a significant

amount of space. The only setback/w this is having to keep an index

card or file around/w your pws, as you should never use the same one

twice, and want to use complicated ones.

5 Tips to 600,000 Hits in Three Weeks

Here’s 5 of the tricks I used to get over

600,000 hits
within a period of three weeks for
bobmeetsworld.com

  • Timing

Timing is essential as you have to take into account that your blog has a
worldwide audience. To figure out where you will get the most hits from, check
your statistics to determine where your biggest group of readers is located
and at what time they tend to log on to your site. Then go and setup the “post-per-email”
feature in word press. Many email clients come with an option where you can
have it send an email at preset time.

Obviously some breaking news articles should be posted as soon as possible and
I suggest you use a Blackberry or something if you feel the urge.

  • Content

Lets face it, content is king and the main reason people actually visit a
blog. So it’s your job to make sure that you have plenty of it.

If you are looking to provide information for a specific kind of reader, you
will most likely only get that specific type of reader.

Try to mix you content with some more popular stories or videos so you will
reach out for a bigger group of people. Chances are some of them will stick
around and will get interested in what you have to say about your favorite
topic.

  • Exposure

Exposure is a thing I can’t stress enough. No matter how wonderful, witty
or brilliant your article is, it will only become valuable if someone reads
it.

Notify the right sites so they can spread the word for you.

Just to name a few:
Digg.com
-
del.icio.us
- reddit.com
- Corank.com
-
Netscape.com

Another way is to make sure your update will get picked up by blog directories
like
Technorati
by having your wordpress

automagically
ping these sites for you.

  • Networking

You are not alone in blogland. Infact you are about 0,000000000001% of the
population these days and you should know your neighbours. They might have
been around a bit longer and will have a loyal group of readers of whom a few
might be interested in what you have to say. Linking to a particular article
from another blog will help the both of you since these links are one of the
things pagerank and technorati rank gets measured on.

Always make sure you credit the source if you quote some information.

Remember what goes around comes around so try to get some good karma going.

  • Be Prepared

What renders a fantastic idea useless? If you forget it.

One of the things you could do is carry a paper notebook with you at all times
and scribble down any visions for a great article that hit you during the day.
Another thing I have started to do is synch my iPod before I leave for work
with my favorite RSS feeds via
iFeedPod
(Windows users can use

iGadget
)

This gives me the possibility to browse through new articles while I’m on my
way to work in the train and adds about 40 minutes of research time a day.
Again, if you come across a hot item you want to post straight away, I suggest
you get a

BlackBerry

:)

So boys and girls, that’s basically what I did during the first three weeks
of BobmeetsWorld and at this moment I am seeing an average of 1100 unique visits
a day and a daily increase of links to the blog.

Let me know if there’s anything I can help you with.

Blog Project: 30 Traffic Generation Tips

First of all a big “thank you” for every one who participated. As I said before
the number of entries surprised me (and the quality as well, I will definitely
apply some of those tips myself).

Now, without further delay, the 30 Traffic Generation Tips:

1. Sridhar Katakam

Keep track of blogs and leave comments on them. A good way to keep the
conversation going is to install a MyBlogLog widget and visit the blog of people
visiting your site.

2. Ian Delaney

Nothing creates long-term traffic more than value. Consider writing posts with
resources or explaining how things work. Useful things get linked to and they
get onto del.icio.us, which is far better long-term than a digg front page.

3. Scott Townsend

Inform search engines and aggregators like Technorati (using the ping
functionality) when your blog is updated, this should ensure maximum traffic
coming from those sources. (check the List of Ping Services)

4. Kyle

Simplify. Pay attention to complex issues in your field of work. It may be a big
long publication that is hard to wade through or a concept that is hard to
grasp. Reference it and make a shorter “for dummies” version with your own
lessons learned and relevant tips. When doing this, I have been surprised to
find that the simplified post will appear before the more complex version in
search results. Perhaps this is why it results in increased traffic; people
looking for more help or clarification on the subject will land on your blog.

5. Grant Gerver

Try to be polemic. I write obsessively about all-things political from the
left-wing perspective in the form of humorous, sarcastic one-liners.

6. Daniel

A simple tip that will probably boost your page views: install a translator
plugin. I decided to use a paid plugin for this, but if I am not wrong there are
some free ones as well. The translation is not very good, as you can imagine,
but it helps to attract readers that are not fluent in English.

7. Rory

Submit articles to blog carnivals (http://blogcarnival.com) that are related to
your niche. Your article almost always gets posted, and it must generate a
handful of visitors, at least.

8. Ramen Junkie

Newsgroups. I always see a spike when I post a review to a newsgroup.

9. Eric Atkins

Create a new design for your website. Not only will it be more attractive to
your regular readers, but you can submit it to some CSS gallery showcase sites
that feature great designs. This will give you exposure on those sites while
generating a lot of traffic and backlinks from those types of sites.

10. Megan Taylor

Participate in conversations on related blogs. Start conversations on your own
blog. Don’t just post about a story and leave it at that, engage your audience,
ask questions and call to action.

11. Guido

Comment on blogs, write useful content and make good friends on forums.

12. Brian Auer

You must be active to generate traffic. I post comments on other blogs that are
related to mine, and I post my site link in my signature at the forums. Spread
the word about your blog and it will certainly attract readers.

13. Shankar Ganesh

Just browse around MyBlogLog.com and you will surely get visitors to your blog.
Also try to join as many communities as possible that are related to your topic.

14. Andrew Timberlake

A great tip for generating traffic is off-line by including your url in all your
off-line liturature from business cards, letterheads, pamphlets, adverts through
in-store signage if applicable. I even have our website on my vehicle.

15. Cory OBrien

Read lots of other blogs. Leave trackbacks. Make sure your blog is optimized for
search engines. Leverage social bookmarking sites like digg (both for new ideas
and for traffic).

16. Jester

Leave comments on other blogs. If you’re already reading them, it takes

just a couple of seconds to leave a message agreeing or disagreeing

with the author, you get to leave a link to your site, and you will almost

ALWAYS get traffic from your comments.

17. Goerge Manty

Post 3-5 times a day. Use ping services like pingomatic or set up wordpress to
ping some of the ping services. Engage your readers. Put up polls, ask them
questions, give them quizes, free tools, etc. Make them want to come back and
tell their friends about you.

18. Engtech

Community. It’s one word but it is the most important one when it comes to
blogging. The only “blog metric” that makes sense is the vibrant community of
readers it has. Building a community around your blog will bring you increased
traffic, but how do you start? The boilerplate response to building traffic is
always “SEO, social networking sites, and commenting on blogs” but it can be
simplified to “be part of a community”. The easiest way to seed your blog is
with an already existing community. But the only way to do that is to be part of
the community yourself.

19. Chris

Squidoo Lenses are a good way to generate traffic. By using a lense,

you can generate your own custom “community” of webpages, including some

of the more popular pages in your “neighborhood.” Including your own

webpage in such a list is a good way of generating traffic.

20. Splork

I’ve had good success writing articles and submitting them to EzineArticles.
Articles that have been written from well-researched keyword phrases and
accepted by EzineArticles tend to rank very high in Google for that search term.
Placing anchor text in the footer of those articles so the reader can visit my
relevant website has always increased my site traffic.

21. Jen Gordon

I came upon some unexpected traffic when my blog popped up on some css design
portals like www.cssmania.com and www.webcreme.com. If you can put some time
into the concept behind and design for your blog, I’d recommend submitting your
site to a design portal not only for

additional traffic but to build an additional community around your site.

22. Kat

I’ve recently gotten involved with several “MySpace-like” community sites that
focus on my target audience. I share my thoughts in their forums, post intros to
my real blog on their system blog and I’ve even created a group for my specific
niche. It’s been very, very successful for me.

23. Inspirationbit

Well, obviously everyone knows that social bookmarking sites like Digg,
del.icio.us, etc. bring lots of traffic. But I’m now submitting some of my
articles to blogg-buzz.com (a digg like site for bloggers), and I always get not
a bad traffic from there.

24. Mark Alves

Participate in Yahoo Answers and LinkedIn Answers where you can demonstrate your
expertise, get associated with relevant keywords and put your URL out there.

25. Tillerman

Be the first to write a post about the ‘Top Ten Blogs’ in your niche. The post
will rank highly in any general search for blogs in your niche and other
bloggers in your niche write about the post and link to it.

26. Nick

Participating in forums is a great way to get loyal readers. Either link baiting
people in your signature or posting great advice and tips will give you high
quality traffic, which will result in return visitors.

27. Brandon Wood

A simple trick I’ve used to increase traffic to my blog is participate in group
writing projects. In fact, that’s what I’m doing right now.

28. Alan Thomas

Don’t forget your archives. I just posted a roundup of all interviews I did over
the past seven months. One of them generated a new link and a big traffic spike
from a group of users that look like they will be loyal readers now.

29. KWiz

Write something controversial. I don’t think it’s good to write something
controversial just for the purpose of getting traffic necessarily (especially if
it’s only for that purpose and you’re being disingenuous), but it works.

30. Dennis Coughlin

Find the best blogs on your niche and contact the authors. Introduce yourself
and send a link of your blog. This might help them to discover your blog, read
it and possibly link to it.

setup file. And you also need to rember that it is not all of the setup files
there are called '.exe but some are called '.msi

How To Make Free Phone Calls

Have you ever got stuck some ware and just about 6'ft away from you there is
a pay phone, but yet you dont have any change ( bummer) to call your famaly
members or some one to come and pick you up(hehe that sux)?

Well im going to show you some thing that might get you arrested(shit now what)
or it might get you home( now thats what im talking about!)its a chance that you
have to take depends were are you.

Ok now before we go on let me let you know that this is not thateasy to do, but
anyways lets start. A pay phone is not like a regular home phone. A pay phone
runs through a diffrent amount of electricity and wires even the electricity
flow is diffrent, Well anyways that is enoght of electrical talk lets get to the
good part.

Ok to get free call's on a pay phone you will frist have to twist the phone wire
just about 50 to 60 times then you will pull on the phonewire untill the metal
part crackes off phone keep doing it if the metalpart is completely off the
phone....

Now assuming that it is off you willsee a few colored wires in side the metal
wire of the pay phone there should be a black, red, yellow one in side it and a
really metallthick one in the middle(NOTE that some phone has diffrent colored
wires)now the one wire that we are looking for is the black one. Now here ishow
its done.. rip off the plastic of that wire(you can take it out with your teeth,
you wont get electricuted =) hehe ).

Now assuming that you have taken apart the plastic off the wire(does not has to
be all of it)now you will take that wire and aply it to the phone with the metal
part of the phone touching the wire that you ripped off its plastic.. if you are
aplying it correctly then you should here a static on the phone.. so make sure
you have that phone on your ear.. now with the wire being aplyed to the
phone(the metal part right next tothe buttons)Dial the number that you wish to
call.. onces you hear it ringing then you can let go of the wire that you was
applying.. and BINGO... say hello to mami and daddy for me =).. welp that is all
enjoy your call.. ohh and by the wayyes this also comes with long distance hehe,
and no! you can not use it to logg on to aol... Peace

How to Bypass BIOS Passwords

BIOS passwords can add an extra layer of security for desktop and laptop computers. They are used to either prevent a user from changing the BIOS settings or to prevent the PC from booting without a password. Unfortunately, BIOS passwords can also be a liability if a user forgets their password, or changes the password to intentionally lock out the corporate IT department. Sending the unit back to the manufacturer to have the BIOS reset can be expensive and is usually not covered in the warranty. Never fear, all is not lost. There are a few known backdoors and other tricks of the trade that can be used to bypass or reset the BIOS

DISCLAIMER
This article is intended for IT Professionals and systems administrators with experience servicing computer hardware. It is not intended for home users, hackers, or computer thieves attempting to crack the password on a stolen PC. Please do not attempt any of these procedures if you are unfamiliar with computer hardware, and please use this information responsibly. LabMice.net is not responsible for the use or misuse of this material, including loss of data, damage to hardware, or personal injury.

Before attempting to bypass the BIOS password on a computer, please take a minute to contact the hardware manufacturer support staff directly and ask for their recommended methods of bypassing the BIOS security. In the event the manufacturer cannot (or will not) help you, there are a number of methods that can be used to bypass or reset the BIOS password yourself. They include:

Using a manufacturers backdoor password to access the BIOS

Use password cracking software

Reset the CMOS using the jumpers or solder beads.

Removing the CMOS battery for at least 10 minutes

Overloading the keyboard buffer

Using a professional service

Please remember that most BIOS passwords do not protect the hard drive, so if you need to recover the data, simply remove the hard drive and install it in an identical system, or configure it as a slave drive in an existing system. The exception to this are laptops, especially IBM Thinkpads, which silently lock the hard drive if the supervisor password is enabled. If the supervisor password is reset without resetting the and hard drive as well, you will be unable to access the data on the drive.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Backdoor passwords

Many BIOS manufacturers have provided backdoor passwords that can be used to access the BIOS setup in the event you have lost your password. These passwords are case sensitive, so you may wish to try a variety of combinations. Keep in mind that the key associated to "_" in the US keyboard corresponds to "?" in some European keyboards. Laptops typically have better BIOS security than desktop systems, and we are not aware of any backdoor passwords that will work with name brand laptops.

WARNING: Some BIOS configurations will lock you out of the system completely if you type in an incorrect password more than 3 times. Read your manufacturers documentation for the BIOS setting before you begin typing in passwords

TOSHIBA BIOS

Most Toshiba laptops and some desktop systems will bypass the BIOS password if the left shift key is held down during boot

IBM APTIVA BIOS

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Password cracking software

The following software can be used to either crack or reset the BIOS on many chipsets. If your PC is locked with a BIOS administrator password that will not allow access to the floppy drive, these utilities may not work. Also, since these utilities do not come from the manufacturer, use them cautiously and at your own risk.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Using the Motherboard "Clear CMOS" Jumper or Dipswitch settings

Many motherboards feature a set of jumpers or dipswitches that will clear the CMOS and wipe all of the custom settings including BIOS passwords. The locations of these jumpers / dipswitches will vary depending on the motherboard manufacturer and ideally you should always refer to the motherboard or computer manufacturers documentation. If the documentation is unavailable, the jumpers/dipswitches can sometimes be found along the edge of the motherboard, next to the CMOS battery, or near the processor. Some manufacturers may label the jumper / dipswitch CLEAR - CLEAR CMOS - CLR - CLRPWD - PASSWD - PASSWORD - PWD. On laptop computers, the dipswitches are usually found under the keyboard or within a compartment at the bottom of the laptop.
Please remember to unplug your PC and use a grounding strip before reaching into your PC and touching the motherboard. Once you locate and rest the jumper switches, turn the computer on and check if the password has been cleared. If it has, turn the computer off and return the jumpers or dipswitches to its original position.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Removing the CMOS Battery

The CMOS settings on most systems are buffered by a small battery that is attached to the motherboard. (It looks like a small watch battery). If you unplug the PC and remove the battery for 10-15 minutes, the CMOS may reset itself and the password should be blank. (Along with any other machine specific settings, so be sure you are familiar with manually reconfiguring the BIOS settings before you do this.) Some manufacturers backup the power to the CMOS chipset by using a capacitor, so if your first attempt fails, leave the battery out (with the system unplugged) for at least 24 hours. Some batteries are actually soldered onto the motherboard making this task more difficult. Unsoldering the battery incorrectly may damage your motherboard and other components, so please don't attempt this if you are inexperienced. Another option may be to remove the CMOS chip from the motherboard for a period of time.
Note: Removing the battery to reset the CMOS will not work for all PC's, and almost all of the newer laptops store their BIOS passwords in a manner which does not require continuous power, so removing the CMOS battery may not work at all. IBM Thinkpad laptops lock the hard drive as well as the BIOS when the supervisor password is set. If you reset the BIOS password, but cannot reset the hard drive password, you may not be able to access the drive and it will remain locked, even if you place it in a new laptop. IBM Thinkpads have special jumper switches on the motherboard, and these should be used to reset the system.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overloading the KeyBoard Buffer

On some older computer systems, you can force the CMOS to enter its setup screen on boot by overloading the keyboard buffer. This can be done by booting with the keyboard or mouse unattached to the systems, or on some systems by hitting the ESC key over 100 times in rapid succession.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jumping the Solder Beads on the CMOS

It is also possible to reset the CMOS by connecting or "jumping" specific solder beads on the chipset. There are too many chipsets to do a breakdown of which points to jump on individual chipsets, and the location of these solder beads can vary by manufacturer, so please check your computer and motherboard documentation for details. This technique is not recommended for the inexperienced and should be only be used as a "last ditch" effort.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Using a professional service

If the manufacturer of the laptop or desktop PC can't or won't reset the BIOS password, you still have the option of using a professional service. Password Crackers, Inc., offers a variety of services for desktop and laptop computers for between $100 and $400. For most of these services, you'll need to provide some type of legitimate proof of ownership. This may be difficult if you've acquired the computer second hand or from an online auction.
